The City of Winder's Special Events Department is thrilled to announce its remarkable success at the Southeast Festivals and Events Association’s (SFEA) 2024 Kaleidoscope Awards, held in Jekyll Island, GA. Competing against a record-breaking number of entries from across the Southeast, the City of Winder stood out, securing a series of prestigious awards that spotlight the creativity, dedication, and impact of its events. 

The 2024 Kaleidoscope Awards saw an unprecedented 170 applications from 30 organizations spanning nine states, highlighting the growing excellence and competitiveness within the festivals and events industry in the Southeast. Against such stiff competition, the achievements of the City of Winder underscore its role as a leader in fostering community engagement, innovation, and inclusivity through its special events. 

Kristin Edwards, the Director of Special Events at the City of Winder, expressed her enthusiasm and gratitude for the recognition: "We hit the ground running to create an entire 2023 event calendar in just a few short weeks. The awards we've won at the SFEA 2024 Kaleidoscope Awards are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity that our team poured into every event. These accolades not only celebrate our achievements but also encourage us to push the boundaries of what we can offer to our community and beyond."
