NeighborWorks Celebrates NeighborWorks Week

Columbus, GA— NeighborWorks Columbus participated in NeighborWorks Week nationally by having a

“Beallwood Beautification” project remembering the 8th Annual NeighborWorks Week activity. Volunteers signed up on Sat.,June 2 and Mrs. Cathy Williams, NeighborWorks director, gave the Welcome. The Beallwood Beautification began at Charlie Hill Park and at 11:30 a.m., there was Community Appreciation.

Some of the sponsors were NeighborWorks Columbus, the City of Columbus, Columbus Technical College-Mrs. Cheryl Myers and students, Girls Inc. Ms. Emilee Hyatt and students,Columbus Parks and Recreation, B.A.N.D.-Mrs. Mrs. Clementine Cochran and Piggly Wiggly-Mr. Keith Milligan.
