A Dinner and A Movie For The Liberty!

The Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner fund-raiser held at the Liberty theatre was a success. The winners of the raffle for the 42 inch flat screen TV were Rob and Ronita Baptiste. Congratulations on the win. Before seeing the movie starring the famous Mr. Sidney Poitier, who has been in Columbus, GA, the guests dined on catfish or whiting, hush puppies, cole slaw, French fries, iced tea, yellow layer cake and a choice of wines – Chardonnay or Muscato. Davis Broadcasting Celebrates its 25th Annual Radio-Thon!

Columbus, GA -- It’s that time of year again! Davis Broadcasting hosted its 25th Annual Radio-Thon, to raise funds for their Needy Children’s Christmas Party. Each year, with the help of the community, they raise funds to ensure that every child that attends their annual Christmas Party goes home with a toy or a bike. This year’s Radio-thon was Nov. 18th-19th. The Needy Children’s Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 8:30 a.m. at the Columbus Civic Center.
