NAACP Holds Hands Up Don’t Shoot-No Justice-No Peace Rally

  By Wandra Jordan, contributing writer and photographer Columbus, GA-- One day after the Ferguson Grand Jury decision, the Columbus branch of the NAACP gathered outside the City Services Center on Macon Road and criticized the way the investigation was handled. Yesterday, we came together in a peaceful protest which was a success in Columbus Georgia. We shared our frustrations, ideas and goals, as we strive for “Stopping The Violence” and the brutality and injustice killings of American Black people by law enforcement officers.
