The American Legion Walk for Veterans Coming to Fort Benning

Fort  Benning, Ga. – The American Legion will hold a Walk for Veterans here on Saturday,  May 14.  Leading the Walk will be American Legion National Commander Dale Barnett and Department of Georgia Commander Thom Mash.
“The purpose of this Walk is to raise public awareness about the crucial issues facing America’s veterans and their families,” said Department Commander Mash. “The American Legion has been calling for accountability at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
